How long should 30 compressions take?
15-18 sec.
What is CPP?
Coronary perfusion pressure. The difference between the pressure in the aorta and the right atrium during diastole. It is a reflection of myocardial blood flow.
What is considered an adequate CPP?
Greater than 20 mmHg
What is the CCF?
Chest Compression Fraction. The amount of time performing chest compressions. Calculating the time of chest compressions by the total time of resuscitation.
What percent of CCF is needed?
60% at least, goal is 80%
Capnography ranges
Normal- 35-45 mmHg, With HQ CPR 15-20 mmHg
ROSC sign?
Sudden capnography increase to ?
When should a sole providers use the AED?
A soon as it is determined the patient is in cardiac arrest p. 11
Obstructed airway response?
5 back blows then abd thrust p.11
What is the first thing to do when an adult is found unresponsive?
Activate EMS system p.13
