An infant is anyone under the age of 1. Child: 1 to the point of puberty Adult: puberty
Adult: at least 2 inches (tapping their shoulder) (Check carotid pulse)
Child: 2 inches (1 or 2 hands) (tapping on shoulder) (Check carotid pulse)
Infant: 1 and ½ inches ((2 fingers or 2 thumbs) (tap on baby’s feet) (check brachial pulse )
Rate of compressions: 100- compressions per minute
