Primary Assessment

Level of consciousness ( are you awake?)
No response call 911 and return with AED if possible
Secondary Assessment
After 911, do head to toe assessment
Head: bumps/ bruises/ fever/ spinal fluid
Arm: Injuries/cuts
Other arm: injuries/ cuts
Torso:

Check breathing: strong rate regular
Circulation: Start CPR if victim unresponsive or not breathing and APPLY AED ASAP

Use head tilt chin lift

Perform visual check quick 5 secs for absent/ no breathing
How to look for breathing
Head tilt chin lift and put ear near mouth facing body so that you can see chest rise
