What are the privileges and limitations of being a CPL holder?
To act as PIC in any operation other than;
- Multi-crew aircraft in an air transport operation.

- Gear selector DOWN.
- Extend pump forward, and pump up and down 20x times until steady green and resistance is felt.
- Check gear is visually down.
Reset landing gear pump circuit breaker.
What would you do if the landing gear failed to retract?
- Master switch ON.
- Landing Gear Lever check UP.
- Landing gear and gear pump circuit breakers IN.
- Gear up light CHECK.
- Landing gear lever RECYCLE.
- Gear motor check.
If fails to retract or gear up light is present, pull the hydraulic pump circuit breaker and re-engage prior to landing.
What would you do if the engine caught fire in the air?
- Shutdown immediately.
- Mixture idle, Fuel off, Master off, Cabin heat and air off.
- Increase glide airspeed.
- Forced landing.
What would you do if the engine caught fire on the ground while starting?
- Continue cranking.
- Power 1700RPM for a few minutes.
- Shutdown engine, call for fire extinguisher.
- Masters, Ignition, Fuel off.
