A
- man was a subject to the law that he had to be approved for a gun. When he applied he was denied. He took the district to court claiming it was a violation of his second amendment rights.

A
- after noticing increasing drug rates at schools, a school decided to do constant and sometimes also random drug tests. Some parents argued that it was a violation of their child’s 4th amendment right.

A
- man was arrested after being identified as a woman’s assaulter. Before he was questioned, he wasn’t told that he had the right to remain silent. He argued that his confession was invalid because of this.

A
- Simmons was sentenced to the death penalty when he murmured at 17. People argued that this was a cruel and unusual punishment.

- court ruled in favor of Simmons saying that he had a still developing brain and had time for rehabilitation

A
- federal bank was passed to be in maryland. Maryland decided to tax the government. A man named McCulloch refused to pay the tax.

- court ruled in favor of McCullach stating that they didn’t have the right to tax the federal governments actions
