Fosamax
- Take med first thing in the morning with 6-8 oz of water (on empty stomach or at least 30 minutes before food or other medications) & remain upright for 30 minutes afterward
headache, constipation, diarrhea, erosive esophagitis, bone pain, osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ), atypical femur fracture.
Zyloprim
Adequate hydration * Avoid alcohol, caffeine & large dose of vitamin C
rash, nausea, bone marrow suppression

- Take in the evening near bedtime

- Pregnant women should avoid handle crushed or broken tablet
- For hair loss, symptomatic improvement may take 3 months or longer.
impotence, decrease libido, weakness, dizziness, gynecomastia
Namenda
dizziness, hypertension, headache
Evista
- May cause leg cramp & hotflash especially during the first 6 months of therapy
DVT, PE, peripheral edema, hotflashes, arthralgia
Exelon
- Rotate sites: do not apply to the same site within 14 days
Do not apply more than 1 patch, as old
Viagra
- Report to PCP if erection persists longer than 4 hours
Should not take more than once per day
headache, flushing, dyspepsia
Vesicare
xerostomia, constipation, urinary retention, blurred vision
Flomax
To reduce orthostatic hypotension, patient should rise slowly from sitting/lying position
Should not abruptly D/C
Should take 30 minutes after a meal

Rotate injection site with each dose
hypercalcemia, orthostatic hypotension, dizziness, N/V
Detrol, Detrol LA
*Drowsiness, dry mouth, constipation, dysuria
