  • Avg vines is 40-50 years.
  • Pre-phylloxera vines removed in 1945.
    Wines: Corton GC from 3 Corton lieaux dits; Les Montrachet GC (1965).
    Styles: hand picking, sorting before vinification. Domaine is one of the last to harvest in Montrachet. For reds, grapes ferment as whole clusters if the vintage is good. 17 to 21 days on skins, new oak used 98% for 18-22 months. Wines are blended and bottled six barrels at the time to avoid bottle variation.

The press wine and the free-run wine are blended before aging in oak, with 50% newoak for the communal wines, 60-70% for premier crus, and 100% for grand crus. Wines are aged 15-18months prior to bottling with no fining or filtering.
