Sollos
Where I’m from. Spiritual and introspective people, full of worldly knowledge of the dead. Recipients of echoes, who visit their hosts and impart wisdom and knowledge. Those suffering Hubris will be inhabited by Malevolent Echoes.
Belaingarde
Very steampunk and British, cultured. Extremely militaristic. No formal religion; all religions accepted. Strong bent toward Primal magic. Strong themes of loyalty.
Ieronym
The Serpent’s Eye, a maelstrom out at sea past Belaingarde that hosts any number of horrors.
The Commonwealth of Blacktallow
Chivalrous and well educated, holding a strong fascination for Gloaming. Some strong Gloaming mages manifest Balefire.
The Woven Faith
A great tapestry of threads carried by the threadbearers after the Three Sisters forbid direct worship. The threadbearers are saints and angels who have taken up the threads of the weave to protect them from Beleghast.
Dremasque
A strange, maddened place full of colorful nobles fighting off insanity and joy eaters who help make them sane again.
The Free City of Ket
(Bravos) A large and sprawling multi-nation of many different classes and types. Also contains the vast desert. No specific defining feature, but an amalgamation of many, run by contract law. Kept in trust by an ancient Armitage named Hekros
The Shrine of Empty Glass
A shrine of Sollos. They use colored glass and mirrors to quiet unrestful Eidolons, trapping echoes in the glass until it can be cleansed in the temples.
The Shrine of the Bronze Mask
A militant shrine of Sollos. They wear metal masks to and focus on militarily defeating the Eidolons.
The Shrine of the Endless Flame
A shrine devoted to the use of fire for purification. Fire is very painful and causes suffering to those they target.
The Shrine of the Soothing Rain
A shrine whose mystics draw spirits into liquids they carry to soothe and wash away pain, until the waters can be purified.
The Ancestria
The region of Sollos I am from, a great city carved into the side of a mountain. The noble houses live above, and their dead are housed in urns in the undertombs.
Pastor Adlai
Alan’s priest. The head of the local church. Fair, unbiased, and interested in following the will of the people so long as it is best for them.
Khoros
Wild nomadic hunters and savages. Known for raiding and thievery. Largely Shoathri, with a specific subset of lycanthropes who have abandoned Wyrlok and become Nightharrow. Largely shamanistic or some Pale.
Kyrzenwold
A hellacious nightmare forest where travelers are dwarfed by dangers. Full of alchemical plants and fauna. Vogel - rangers. Lyrikers - mages and scholars. Respectful, poised, cautious, and strong. Fairly secular.
