LAR No1 2023 - distress can corroborate the complainers account of something specific - the commission of the offence, in terms of time, the distress can be corroborative of the account shortly after the incident where the jury are satisfied that it was caused by the incident and is genuine
Moorov Doctrine
MR v HMA - if similar in time, place and circumstance one crime can corroborate another
Howden Doctrine
Howden v HMA - when there is sufficient corroborated evidence that the accused has committed one crime (Crime A), if that crime is sufficiently connected to the other (Crime B), even if there is no identification evidence in Crime B, he may be convicted of both Crime A and B
