Directory service that Microsoft developed for Windows domain networks
Active Directory
Is a systems management software product developed by Microsoft for managing large groups of computers running Windows NT, Windows Embedded, macOS (OS X), Linux or UNIX, as well as Windows Phone, Symbian, iOS and Android
System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM
A line of messaging and collaborative software from Microsoft that is comprised of an email server, email client, and several groupware applications. The MicrosoftExchange line is prevalent in large corporations and is frequently used in conjunction with Microsoft Outlook

Is software that allows a user to run other applications on a computing device.
Operating system (OS)
Is the interconnected pattern of network elements. A network topology may be physical, mapping hardware configuration, or logical, mapping the path that the data must take in order to travel around the network
Topologies
Is a computer network within a small geographical area such as a home, school, computer laboratory, office building or group of buildings.
Local area network (LAN)
Is a network that exists over a large-scale geographical area.
Wide area network (WAN)
Is similar to a local area network (LAN) but spans an entire city or campus. MANs are formed by connecting multiple LANs.
Metropolitan area network (MAN)
Is a computer, a device or a program that is dedicated to managing network resources.

Is a model for the distribution of software where customers access software over the Internet.
SaaS Software as a service (SaaS)
Is a term that references non-developmental items (NDI) sold in the commercial marketplace and used or obtained through government contracts.
Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS)
Is the manufacturer that first produced hardware that is then sold to a company that markets the hardware under its own name.
