What is the pathphysiology of CAD?

A

Over time atherosclerosis occurs where fats build up in and on your artery walls forming plaques.
A fibrous cap forms between the plaques and lumen of the artery.
This causes arterial stenosis (narrowing) and can lead to cardia ischaemia
