Corinthians Flashcards
1 Corinthians 12:27-28
Now you are Christs body, and each of you is a member of it. 28 And God has placed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, gifts of healing, helps, gifts of leadership, different kinds of tongues.
1 Corinthians 2:9
But just as it is written, “ Things that no eye has seen, or ear heard, or mind imagined, are the things God has prepared for those who love him.”
1 Corinthians 2:12
Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things that are freely given to us by God.
1 Corinthians 12:4-7
Now there are different gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are different ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are different results, but the same God who produces all of them in everyone. 7 To each person the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the benefit of all.
1 Corinthians 13:1-2
1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but I do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag, it is not puffed up. 5 It is not rude, it is not self- serving, it is not easily angered or resentful. 6 It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth. 7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 15:58
So then, dear brothers and sisters, a be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
2 Corinthians 4:8-10
We are experiencing trouble on every side, but are not crushed; we are perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 we are persecuted, but not abandoned; we are knocked down, but not destroyed, 10 always carrying around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible b in our body.
2 Corinthians 5:17
So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away - look, what is new has come!
2 Corinthians 5:15
And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised. a
2 Corinthians 8:7
But as you excel in everything- in faith, in speech, in knowledge, and in all eagerness and in the love from us that is in you - make sure that you excel in this act of kindness too.
2 Corinthians 9:6
My point is this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously.
2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is enough for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” So then, I will boast most gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may reside in me.
