The application form can be completed online and mailing the application material to the CPCC.
The CPCC will review the application materials and determine the application fee, then notify the applicant. After paying application fee the applicant will receive a notice o receipt of payment and of application. 30 Working days tp complete. = Copyright Registration Certificate

4 how long is protected?

• economic rights and right to exploit the work for economic gain, is 50 years from the date of creation or publication, or in the case of individuals (natural persons), the lifetime of the author plus 50 years.
• moral rights (ex right of attribution of authorship, right of publication and right to alter the work + preserve the integrity: UNLIMITED

Time and costs of registration

Time: 30 days after acceptance of application + extra 30 if more material is requires. If fees are not paid within 10 days, registration might be delayed.

Cost: application fee depends on work type + fees for changes, cancellation or additional certificates. From 250 to 300 RMB.
