Coord Parameters Flashcards
Procedural Coord?
15 Minutes
Heads-up Coord?
20 NM to other sectors in CTA.
30 NM to approach sectors in CTA.
Boundary Coord?
Half the applicable radar standard (2.5NM)
Back Coordination?
No vertical changes, lateral changes within 45 degrees.
Voiceless Coord?
To or from Class G:
No coord required provided no changes within:
Another sector 20NM
TCU 10NM
CTA to CTA between sectors as specified in LI/LOA. No changes within 20 NM.
HUM/CB TMA
A085 and Below - G to C (voiceless coord)
A090-A100 C to C en route control (surveillance) to approach (surveillance)
No coordination required from ENR to CB TCU provided aircraft is assigned lowest assignable level of FL110 (subject to QNH)
HUM/YAS
A085 and below- G to G (voiceless coordination)
HUM/GLB
Heads-up in one direction.
No coord required when ident, except when requesting changes within 20 NM.
Slow climbers may need to be coordinated on taxi.
e.g WG-SYD via GLB may not be ident prior to 20NM.
HUM/SNO
At FL180 and below - Class G/C/E to Class G (voiceless coord)
Above FL180 - Class A to Class E (en route control (surveillance) to en route control (surveillance)).
HUM/TEM
FL180 and below - Class G to Class G (voiceless)
FL180 to FL245 - Class E to Class E (en route control (surveillance) to en route control (surveillance)).
HUM/MLE
FL180 and below - G to G (voiceless)
FL180 to FL245 - E to E (en route control (surveillance) to en route control (surveillance)).
HUM/OVN
A085 and Below - G to G(voiceless)
Above A085 to FL125 in J curve - Class E to E (en route control (surveillance) to en route control (surveillance)).
Above FL125 in J curve - Class A/C to Class A/C (en route control (surveillance) to en route control (surveillance)).
HUM/ AY TWR
Arriving A090 and above - sequence. (en route control (Procedural or surveillance) to approach (procedural).
Arriving A085 and below - 10 minutes prior to lateral boundary.
HUM/BLA
No voice coordination required, so as long as aircraft handed off the standard assignable level with voiceless coord between vertically adjoining sectors.
The transfer is with:
No vert restrictions in the expected direction of the aircraft’s vertical manoeuvre; and
no lateral restrictions within 45 degrees of the nominal forward track.
OVN/ELW
Heads-up in one direction
Aircraft taxiing at AY that will enter ELW airspace do not need to be coordinated provided that they remain south of the WG-ELW line and are not assigned a level in ELW’s airspace until after identification. If you wish to assign a level above A080 at the “next”call, it must be pre-coordinated with ELW sector.
The exception is except when aircraft are requesting changes to route or level within 20NM OR are not identified.
Coordination is required on all flights west of a line WG-ELW
No coordination is required when aircraft are identified and tracking between sectors as indicated, except when requesting changes to route or level within 20 NM of the receiving sector.
