Q
- Explain how muscles work as a pair to bend and straighten the arm causing movement at the joint. Make sure you discuss the type of joint movement. (I need to add things about tendons and the type of joint)
A
The biceps brachii is connected to your arm by a tendon. The biceps contract to pull on the tendon which in turn pulls on the bone, moving it. The same happens with the triceps to straighten the arm; When your arm moves back and forth, it is called a hinged joint.
