If a pump has failed so can be cross connected using the other systems pump

What my happen to machinery if it is not correctly cooled?
Machinery not cooled correctly is more likely to cause fires, equipment failure, wiping of bearings or equipment seizing
Why is FW (Fresh Water) used in a cooling system?
- Machinery is Susceptible to salt water corrosion
* Other equipment can be affected by salt water contamination e.g. Gas Turbine, Fuel systems and electric motors
What definition of system is the FW/SW?
When could the FW be Cross connected to the SW?
The Fresh Water circulation system can be cross connected to Salt Water in am emergency (e.g. Fresh Water pump failure) but only with MEO permission.
