Give all John the Baptist’s words.
J 1:15 This is the one I spoke about when I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ 1:20 I am not the Messiah. 1:21 I am not. No. 1:23 I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord.’ 1:26 I baptize with water, but among you stands one you do not know. 1:27 He is the one who comes after me, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. 1:29 Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! 1:30 This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ 1:31 I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel. 1:32 I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. 1:33 And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ 1:34 I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One. 1:36 Look, the Lamb of God!

J 1:35 The next day John was there again with two of his disciples. 1:36 When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!” 1:37 When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus. 1:38 Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, “What do you want?” They said, “Rabbi” (which means ““Teacher””), “where are you staying?” 1:39 Come,” he replied, “and you will see.” So they went and saw where he was staying, and they spent that day with him. It was about four in the afternoon. 1:40 Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. 1:41 The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ). 1:42 And he brought him to Jesus. Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked. “Come and see,” said Philip. 1:47 When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite, in whom there is no deceit.” 1:48 “How do you know me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.” 1:49 Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.” 1:50 Jesus said, “You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. That joy is mine, and it is now complete. 3:30 He must become greater; I must become less. 3:31 The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all. 3:32 He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony. 3:33 Whoever has accepted it has certified that God is truthful. 3:34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. 3:35 The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.”

At dawn what happened?
J 8:2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 8:3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 8:4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 8:5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” 8:6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 8:7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8:8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. 8:9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 8:10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” 8:11 “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

J 8:31 If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. 8:34 Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 8:35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. 8:37 I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me, because you have no room for my word. 8:38 I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father. 8:39 If you were Abraham’s children, then you would do what Abraham did. 8:40 As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. 8:41 You are doing the works of your own father. 8:42 If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. 8:43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 8:45 Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 8:46 Can any of you prove me guilty of sin?
