Describe how a convection current works.
A
The liquid or gas in the hotter areas are less dense and so they will rise to the cooler area. The cold, denser liquid or gas falls the the warmer areas, causing the liquid or gas to circulate.

Convection happens in liquids and gases because their particles are free to move about.
