Massage techniques increases blood flow > increased blood flow can cause cancer to spread more easily

Increased risk of miscarriage in 1st 3months > massage techniques may increase BP > may increase risk of miscarriage
Reasoning for infectious diseases being total contraindication?
Influencing blood flow > may increase risk of infection spreading
Reasoning for acute injury (24/48hrs) being total contraindication?
cause lots of discomfort, may adversely affect tissue healing, delay return to sport

6 months
Why should you highlight any bruises to the patient?
So that they don’t attribute the bruises to you
Reasoning for varicose veins being contraindicated?
Work less efficiently, prone to leakage, could lead to really widespread bruising.
