- No changing positions as much
- PROM with arthritic joints

Headaches
A
- Heat to head is CI, can do cold to neck and heat to periphery
- No loud sounds/bright lights
- No deep vigorous tx
- Position for comfort
- Dont over treat
- Approach TrPr with caution (possible kickback pain)

VP Shunt
A
- Aggressive techniques that can cause inflammation/damage
- Direct work or drag over shunt
- Position area of congestion over drainage area (semi-fowlers or seated)
- shorten tx to 30 mins

Pacemaker
A
- Prone position may be uncomfy, place pillow/cushion between table and device
- Position for comfort
- Decrease tx time to 30 mins
- No SNS increase (deep painful tx, direct/systemic heat)
- Dont mobilize surgical scars
- No frictions

- MFR over pecs

- Allow time for bathroom
