- Increasing SNS (prolonged vigorous/painful techniques)
- Excessive increase of venous return
- Full body hydro or prolonged heat over back/pecs
- Position for comfort (sleeping position)

- Difficulty breathing/rapid breathing
- Paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea (choking if in supine)
- Position for comfort (sleeping position)
- Full body lymph drainage/venous return

A
- No fascial with delicate skin
- No deep pressure
- Keep room/table warm
- May not undress or need help undressing
- May need secondary person for consent if cognitive ability is compromised
- Secondary conditions/medications
- Shorter tx time
- May need help getting on/off table
- No changing positions as much
- PROM with arthritic joints

Headaches
A
- Heat to head is CI, can do cold to neck and heat to periphery
- No loud sounds/bright lights
- No deep vigorous tx
- Position for comfort
- Dont over treat
- Approach TrPr with caution (possible kickback pain)

VP Shunt
A
- Aggressive techniques that can cause inflammation/damage
- Direct work or drag over shunt
- Position area of congestion over drainage area (semi-fowlers or seated)
- shorten tx to 30 mins
