Contracts: Leaving without Breaching

What are the different ways you can drop a contract without being in breach of the contract?

Answer 1

1. Performance: Fully performed or substantially performed
2. Rescission: As long as both parties agree to break the contract aka rescind
3. Accord or satisfaction: A long as both parties agree and are satisfied with the alternative or the end result
4. a)Operation of Law: If the objective of the contract becomes absolutely impossible, you are effectively released from it.
   b) if you die before you finish the contract (for personal services), then you are release (and it doesn’t become the responsibility of any other party of kin)
