Landlord promised to reduce rent to original after business wasnt’t going well, for the length of time until business goes well.

When they got to Alaska, thee refused to fish until they got paid more.

Alaska packers agreed to pay them more, but only paid them original amount when they got back. The fishermen sued and lost.

Suprise! 400 new people moved to the city, so city council agreed to pay him more.

Railway wrote back they would take 1,200 tons of Iron rails at X price per ton.

Columbus said no to new terms, then Railway tried to accept original offer.

Railway sued Columbus saying there was contract for original offer, and lost.

A

Briggs sent purchase order for a buncha generators.

A month after Briggs placed the order and the generator seller acknowledged it, the seller sent its Standard Terms and Conditions for Sale that included a forum-selection clause.

Disputes over the contract arose, and the seller tried to keep the suit in the fourm state mentioned in the fourm-selection clause.

The seller lost

Terms and conditions said to return the PC if they don’t agree.

Hill didn’t read them, later sued as part of a class action.

Buisiness said you had to arbitrate and sues back
