Rule for missed pills COCP

A

If <24 hours late: take missed pill ASAP and continue as usual

If >24 but <96, take most recent pill and continue pills but use additional contraception till 7 active hormone pills taken

Miss more than 4: stopped using COCP

If pill missed in first 7 active days after placebo: consider emergency contraception if unprotected sex in past 5bdays

If missed pills in the last 7 days of active pills before placebo, omit pill-free interval

If sig vomiting/diarrhoea within 2 hours of taking, missed pill
