Austria, central and north germany.

15,000.
What did the armies lack?
Co-ordination, leadership or common agenda.
What was the only thing the peasants had in common?
A symbol - the peasants shoe.
What did the rebels do to castles and monasteries and towns?
Destroyed them.
What replaced local authorities?
Mob rule and terror.
