the death rate for cardiovascular diseases remain relatively constant because they are mainly impacted by diet. Drugs such as statins can help to alleviate conditions but not treat them completely

What is an SAR ?

- structure Activity Relationships - relates the structural features of a drug molecule to the biological activity it is set to carry out. i.e Hydrogen bond acceptors and donors help to make the drug more water soluble and become immersed in the blood.
