when two objects are physically touching each other
examples of contact forces:
tension,friction,air resistance normal contact force,reaction force
what is tension?
an object that is being stretched.
what is reaction force?
an object at rest

whenever a contact force acts between 2 objects, they both experience the same size of force, but in opposite directions
what are non contact forces?
forces between 2 objects that are not physically touching

gravitational force,electrostatic force and magnetic force
what is gravitational force
this attracts all objects to eachother
what is electrotstatic force
which is the force between 2 charged objects with opposite charges experiencing attraction with same charges repulsion
what is magnetic force
the force experienced by certain objects in a magnetic field.
what are normal contact forces
the upwards force exterted by an object in direct contact with another object
