  1. With the exception of daily disposables all contact lenses need to be cleaned with contact lens solution
  2. It is important that the right solution is used on the right lenses
  3. Ointments and drops should not be used while wearing lens unless the product specifically advices
  4. Ingredients in eye products, in particular preservatives, can damage contact lens
  5. Anyone with repeated discomfort from contact lenses should go back to the optician that fitted them
  6. The containers of lens solutions clearly state which type of lens they are suitable for, so check with the customer before you sell them
  7. Contact lens wearers must be careful when using make-up, hairspray etc. around the eye area
  8. Do not allow water to come into contact with contact lenses/storage cases. They should be removed before swimming or showering to avoid contamination and infections.
