So the nazis could arrest a communist called Lubbe and charge him with starting it so people would dislike communists

It suspended basic civil rights and allowed nazis to imprison large numbers of their political opponents

23rd March 1933 and gave Hitler full powers for 4 years

All trade unions were banned and DAF was set up instead
