Q

Whats the definition of specific gravity

A

Is the ratio of the weight of a given volume of fuel at the same temperature it is to the weight of equal volume of distilled water normally gravity of petroleum products is converted to degrees according to API scale all gravity determinations are correlated with specific temperature of 60F by use of ASTM standard D1250-80

18
Q

What is a all levels sample

A

Sample is one obtained by submerging a closed sampler to a point as possible to the drawoff levelthen opening the sampler and raising it at such a rate that it is nearly but not quite full.

19
Q

What is a Representative sample

A

Basically just taking a barrel from the line up and testing it and having it determing weather the rest of the barells are good

20
Q

What is a duplicate correlation sample?

A

When you take two samples and test one in house and test one at a laboratory and test the accuracy along with the samples themselves.
