What does simple sentence describe?

A

Has just one subject and verb and is called an independent clause. Don´t use a lot of commas

ex. Sam washed his face.

What does compound sentence describe?

A

Are made up of two simple sentences or 2 independent clauses. Joined together with conjunction (FANBOYS) and a comma before the conjunction.

ex. Sam washed his face, and he combed his hair
