What are Congruent Triangles ?
Triangles that have exactly the same three sides and exactly the same three angles.
What are Similar Triangles ?
Triangles that are the same shape but not necessarily the same size.
What is the SAS rule ?
Where the triangles have two equal sides and one equal angle, the equal sides being on either side of the angle.
What is the ASA rule ?
Where the triangles have two equal angles and one equal side, the equal angles being on wither side of the side length.
What is the SSS rule ?
Where the triangles have three equal sides.
What is the AAS rule ?
Where the triangles have two equal angles and one equal side, the equal angles being next to each other and the equal side being after one or the other.
What is the RHS rule ?
This only works with right angle triangles. Where the triangles have an equal hypotenuse and any other side equal, and the right angle.
