Domination of the market and increased ability to distribute and exhibit products

Reduction of risk due to size of organisation
What are the disadvantages of conglomerates?
Conglomerates are powerful - their views can easily be published

The process where one company acquires another one at a different level of the industry
E.g. Magazine publisher that owns a printing company.
