What does the priest do?
He takes the place of Jesus on earth. He has the power to change bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ and the power to forgive sins.
Name the six laws of the Catholic Church.
- Go to confession at least once a year if serious sin is present.
- Receive Communion during Easter time.
- Contribute to the support of the Church.
- Attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation.

What are the two parts of the Bible and what do they contain?
Old Testament - history of the Jews before the time of Christ
New Testament - story of Christ on Earth, what happened in the early Church, letters written to early Christians.
What are we called to do as members of the Church?
We are called to give witness to our faith in Jesus Christ through word and action. We are to be his presence in the world helping to fulfill his mission to bring all people to God.
