What is a Confined Area?
Any site other than an airfield should be considered as a confined area.
Defined as those areas where obstructions exists or are suspected to exist within close proximity to the aircraft and/or persons.

What is the minimum rotor clearance that shall be maintained with obstacles at all times?
4m rotor clearance
What are examples of obstacles contributing to a confined area?
Buildings Vehicles, Traffic Boats, Ships Trees, Forrests, Timbered Areas Cliff Faces, Gorges, Valleys Powerlines, Wires, Lighting Poles, Radio Towers, Antennas, Windmills, Wind Farms

Height - “Check Height” / “Climb, Climb, Climb”

Intercom Failure - “Intercom Failure”

Emergencies - Major / Minor
