The realists thought that it was through law and force that the government can establish peace and harmony. Mo Tzu thought that it was through equal love and personal commitment that they can solve the problem of social cohesion. Both Mo Tzu and realists offer total opposite solution to social cohesion.

The self is a center of relationships. It is constructed through its interactions with others and its defined by the sum of its social roles.
Apart from human relationships there is no self
The human self as a node not an entity
How are heaven and earth connected in Confucianism ?
Heaven hold control earths welfare
The ancestors in the heaven realm share the knowledge of things to come to the earths descendants while it is also wise and natural for the earths residents to share their good with their departed ancestors. Principal communication for both realms was for earth resident to offer sacrifices and they would receive signs through body and through extern signs like thunder and lightening.
Which should be primary focus ?
Earth should come first “though spirits should not be neglected, people should come first”
