Q

What is the process of pacemaker cell depolarisation?

A
  • 4 - Permeable to Na so move in to -40. These are never really resting so called funny channels
  • 0 - this change opens VGCC so Ca comes in and causes depolarisation
  • 3 - At 10mv these clse and VGKC open and this flow in to lower it again

Q

What is the process of normal myocyte cell depolarisation?

A

4 - Resting. K open so it leaves

0 - Depolarisation and VGNC open so it rushes in

1 - VGNC close and VGKN open so K rushes in to lower potential

2 - VGCC open to slow fall

4 - VGCC close to fall goes again until these close and it starts again
