Zero conditional
Zero conditional’s formula
if/when + simple present… simple present
It is used in dealing with things that are possibly or likely to happen in the future.
First conditional
First conditional’s formula
if/when + simple present … will + base form
It is used in dealing with things that are impossible in present and are unlikely to happen.
Second conditional
Second conditional’s formula
if/when + simple past … would + base form
It is used in dealing with things or changes in scenario yielding to different results.
Third conditional
Third conditional’s formula
if/when + past perfect… would have + past participle
