When would you use the conditional tense in French?
A
In French, it is called le conditionnel and is most often translated by [would] in English. [I would travel etc]

How do you form the conditional tense for regular verbs in French?
What happens when you conjugate regular -re verbs in the conditional tense?
A
Infinitive +
Je: ais
Tu: ais
Il/Elle: ait
Nous: ions
Vous: iez
Ils/Elles: aient
The final -e on the end gets dropped. After that the verb in conjugated as normal

A
Use the irregular stem + endings
