Cervical facet syndrome (DJD)
Pain on palpation is localized over facet
Pain ion extension + rotation –>facet approximation
Antalgia hold head away from facet (lat + flex)

Shoulder depression test (+) pain on side of flexion and localized.
Cervical radiculopathy
Pain radiating down arm, weakness, along a dermatome–> level
ROM:
pain away from affected side = disk herniation.
Pain towards affected side = impingement of nerve root

Cervical distraction test (+) sx decreased
Shoulder depression test (+) pain reproduced on side of flexion – root being impinged or pain shooting to opposite side - herniation
Valsalva (+) –> disc herniation

Jaw Reflex (+) absence of reflex indicates CN V injury
