Describe some of the presenting symptoms of CNS tumours

A
  • Symptoms of Primary (tissue infiltration): these will be focal neuro deficits specific to the location of the tumour
  • Symptoms of RICP:
    • bilateral headache, bursting, worse on lying down/coughing/sneezing
    • Vomiting, reduced consciousness, irritability, visual changes
  • Systemic Symtpoms: FLAWS
