Conclusion (positives)

A

In conclusion on the one hand Britain has made considerable progress towards democracy by 1918. They had extended their franchise to many classes within society and corruption and bribery was eliminated from the British political system which made it more fair. Additionally Britain was fairly represented in parliament and the power over parliament once held by the elite was now gone.

Q

Conclusion (negatives)

A

However, on the other had arguably there were still some issues that needed to be addressed as women still did not have the vote on the same terms as men and for Britain to become democratic that would need to be addressed. Furthermore sims still believe that the House of Lords veto powers should be reduced given their non elected status.
