What is a state?
A community of persons, more or less numerous, permanently occupying a definite portion of territory, having a government of their own, and enjoys freedom from external control.

People or population, Territory, Government, and Sovereignty
What is the difference between internal sovereignty and external sovereignty?
Internal sovereignty is the power or authority within the territory while External sovereignty refers to the freedom from foreign control.

What is a nation?
Large group of people united by common descent or history, culture, or language, inhabiting particular country or territory.

Can there be a state without a nation?
No, because in order to be considered as a state it must have people or population first.
Can there be a nation without a state?
Yes, because nation may not possess all the elements of a state.
Differentiate state and nation.
State is a political concept and consists of: people, territory, government, and sovereignty. Nation is an ethnical concept and may or may not possess all the elements of the state.

Arab Nation, Africans
Explain the concept of a nation-state.
It is a nation-state because it consists all the elements of a state and has all the basis of being a nation.

Changes or adjustments in expansion of political systems to cater the international transactions.

What is an international organization?
It refers to the intergovernmental organizations or groups. They are the actors in world politics. Constituted by international law as independent entities, separate from the states.
