Q

God came to earth in the form of Jesus for 3 main purposes:

A
  • to reveal Himself to people, showing His love & power + teaching them how He wants them to live
  • to sacrifice Himself on the cross, receiving God’s punishment for human sin so that repentant people can be forgiven
  • to rise from the dead, showing that God has eternal life & power over death + that Christians themselves may have everlasting life in heaven after death
