A

Emoluments Clause

A

Prohibits the president and federal officials from receiving gifts from foreign govts without the consent of congress. Problems with enforcement of this clause: standing, PQD, whether applies to president.

Also a congressional emoluments clause that prevents a member of either house from benefiting from a vote to create or increase pay of a federal officer if they are later appointed to that office
