What is hardware?
Hardware is all the physical parts that make up a computer.
What is software?
Software is a set of instructions, data or programs used to operate computers and execute specific tasks.
Define an input device?
A physical device used to the processor of a computer. They take data from the real world for the computer to use. Computers react to what the input device does. This data can be in many different forms such as text, images, sound.
Define output
A piece of equipment/hardware which gives out the result of the entered input, once it is processed

Explain the purpose of a storage device.
A storage device is a hardware component that allows you to store and retrieve digital information on your computer.
What does the Motion section contain?
These blocks in Scratch are used to move or turn sprites.
What does the Looks section contain?
This block is used to change the color, brightness, or pixelation of the sprite.
What does the Sound section contain?
The Scratch sound library is full of a variety of sound effects, voices, and longer sound loops.
What does the Events section contain?
When flag clicked, when sprite clicked, when key pressed and broadcast.
What does the Control section contain?
Control blocks control the order that blocks run in, including decisions (selection) and loops (repetition)
What does the Sensing section contain?
They are color-coded light-blue, and are used to detect things.
What does the Operators section contain?
The Operators blocks are used to compare variables and values, do calculations with numbers, and work with strings (text).
What does the Variables section contain?
In simple terms, a variable is a storage container that holds a value that can be modified or retrieved by your program.
What does the My Blocks section contain?
My Blocks are pink-colored blocks that specifically hold the procedure for selected sprites.
