How is CT used to detect cancers?
A
By imaging tissue and tissue anomalies in 3D

How does CT work?
A
The scanner is rotated around the object and individual X-rays are taken, producing images of slices of the body. Successive slides can be built up to produce a 3D image of a section of the body.
