What is the difference between differential diagnosis and problem lists?

A

Problem lists essentially entails multiple problems and multiple differentials, and problems aren’t necessarily medical - this allows for problem prioritising

How is the presentation of MI like in elderly patients?

A

While chest pain is a very prevalent symptom in younger patients with MI, 1/3 of MI in older patients do not present with chest pain;

rather, it might present like dizziness, delirium, collapse or breathlessness

Both would get bloods, ECGs and CXRs

Angiogram is done straight-away in a non-frail person, usually normal echo
