Cardiovascular fitness
the ability to exercise the entire body for long periods of time without tiring
Muscular endurance
the ability to use voluntary muscles many times without getting tired
Flexibility
the range of movement possible at a joint
Reaction time
the time it takes to respond to a stimulus
Power
the ability to do strength performances quickly. in order to have power, you must have strength and speed
Speed
the amount of time it takes to perform a particular action or to cover a distance
Agility
the ability to change the position of the body quickly while maintaining control of the movement
Balance
the ability to retain the body’s centre of mass above the base of support
Co-ordination
the ability to use two or more body parts together
Body composition
the relative ratio of fat mass to fat-free mass in the body
Strength
the amount of force a muscle can exert against resistance
