Definition of platelets
A
small fragments of cells which helps to clot wounds. They have no nucleus

pale coloured liquid which carries: red and white blood cells and platelets ect.

A
Part of the body’s immune system which produces antibodies and antitoxins

A
Carries oxygen, no nucleus, has a red pigment called haemoglobin

Why does a red blood cell have haemoglobin?
A
It helps carry oxygen (oxyhaemoglobin) and release oxygen (oxyhaemoglobin spits)
