  • stop smoking
  • self management/goals : diet and exercise and nutrition
  • BP <140/80, 130/80 if microvascular disease
  • cholesterol
  • aspirin for CDH
  • ACEi for CKD
  • good glycemic control

A

Background - hard exudates, blot haemorrhages

Cotton wool spots (iscemia)

Neovascularisation

Laser scars
